Biographical Sketch
Sayan Mullick Chowdhury received his bachelors degree in Human Physiology from Presidency College under University of Calcutta in 2008 and completed his M.S in Biochemistry in 2010 from the same University.He has worked as a trainee in Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics ,Kolkata and joined the Molecular and Cellular biology program under the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology,Stony Brook University in 2010.He has previously worked on projects related to Molecular biology , Microbiology & Structural Biology.
He is currently pursuing his PhD in Biomedical
Engineering under the guidance of Dr Balaji Sitharaman . The projects Sayan is currently working on are:
1.Cytotoxicity of Carbon Based Nanoparticles
2. Microbial Fuel Cell Project
