Xueying (Sherry) Zhang

Xueying (Sherry) Zhang earned her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY, after completing a M.S. in the same department, and a bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Her primary research area is computational biology, including biomedical systems modeling and signal analysis-particularly with respect to the neural systems. She also has worked on detection and estimation of metabolite concentrations from MRS data obtained under in vivo conditions. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory of Study for Emotion and Cognition at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY.
