Dawn Sasvary, M.S.

Ms. Sasvary has a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, which made it possible for her to help the faculty in the Dept. of Surgery with their research as a Technical Specialist. When the Medical Center received the Grant from NIH for a GCRC site, Dawn became a very active member of the Core Lab. She started to provide data respiratory measurement on metabolism and on hormone assays, like insulin, cortisol, hGH and DHEA. For the last two years she down-scaled a Cortisol RIA method and is using it successfully on many samples to measure stress-related cortisol concentration.
