Dr. Denis Tolkunov earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Clarkson University (NY) in 2007. His research was primarily focused on Quantum Information and some aspects of complex systems dynamics (see his work on the subject). He earned his M.S. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2002. Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory of Study for Emotion and Cognition at the Department of Biomedical Engineering. His research lies in the field of neuroscience in particular he is interested in: models of neural systems dynamics, neural networks, image and digital signal processing.
